Nicolas Iten pumps 97.2 km nonstop around Lake Ägeri

Nicolas Iten has closed his season with another huge effort: 97.2 km of nonstop pump foiling in 6 hours and 1 minute, nine laps of Lake Ägeri (Ägerisee) in canton Zug, the lake where he was born. That is 19.2 km further than the 78 km he pumped for his long-distance world record in June.
"Not 100km, but very happy to close this awesome season with this effort," he wrote afterwards. His tracker logged an average of 16.1 km/h, a top speed of 21.1 km/h, an average heart rate of 154 and 6,026 kcal, and he got through 4 litres of water and gels on the way round.

He rode the Fireball 1750 with the Skinny 250/20, the pump rear wing developed alongside him, on a Psychoshort fuselage and a PRO Ultra High Modulus mast, under a prototype of the new Dock 880 pump board. Nicolas thanked AXIS and Bucher+Walt for this year's equipment, and his family for listening to a whole season of pump foil talk.
