The Kernow Foil Classic ran all week with prone, wing, parawing and foil assist competitions, and the prone contest on 3 October got clean lines. Luke set the tone in his first round, scoring 8.17, 8.03 and 7.53 on his first three waves to finish the round a clear winner, then carried that form all the way through to the final the same day. Luke rides the Surge, the surf wing he helped develop; his Western Australia session on the Surge 830 is told in Hype Man.

Holly Pye took the top step in the Women's Foil Assist competition.

Congratulations to Luke and Holly, and thanks to the organisers, the volunteers and every rider who made the week such a good one.
