Foil Drive POCKET TRENCH - AXIS Foilboard - 50L

These highly anticipated 50L and 60L boards bring the magic of the AXIS Pocket Trench (patent pending) to foil assist riders of all size and ability level. Rather than simply carving out the base of the board with a bulky trench that disturbs water flow AXIS developed the recessed pocket that allows your Foil Drive to neatly slide inside resulting in greatly reduced drag on take offs and effortlessly smooth touch downs when on motor.

This streamlined approach also led to the development of the bespoke AXIS tracks and sliders, not only the fastest and easiest battery swaps available on a trench board but also allowing the use of custom designed tracks engineered for the exacting demands of modern foiling, not cast offs from the surfboard world better suited to holding a fin in a longboard.
Simply drop, slide and lock into your preferred setup and thanks to the fibreglass reinforcements in the track zone and front deck, the Pocket Trench ensures uninterrupted signal strength from your controller, eliminating the common signal connection frustrations of other full-carbon boards.

The new 50L measures 160 x 49.2 cm (5’2” x 19.3”) is an ideal board for light weight beginners <70 kg, intermediate foilers <90 kg and advanced level heavy weights >90kg
The 60L measures 170 x 51.2 cm (5’6” x 20.2”) and is targeted towards beginners <90kg and intermediate heavy weight riders >90 kg

All sizes of Pocket Trench are compatible with all models of Foil Drive (Slim, Max and Fusion) however they are not compatible with the softer bottom protection plates that were supplied on Max models with serial numbers between AM-0001 and AM-2300. If you have one of these units contact Foil Drive to ask for the newer stronger board protection plate.

ONLY the AXIS supplied sliders should be used in the Pocket Trench range.
