New from AXIS: everything we launched at AWSI 2026

Every September the foiling world gathers in Hood River for AWSI, and this year we brought more new product to the show than ever before. Here is everything we released on 9 September 2026, in one place, with links to each product page.

Surge 1240

You asked for a bigger Surge, and here it is. After the 1080 and 1150, the 1240 takes the range into big-foil territory without giving up what made the smaller sizes so good. We increase aspect ratio progressively as the Surge grows, so the 1240 (1240 mm span, 142 mm chord, AR 11.48) keeps the speed, glide and efficiency of its siblings while adding the low-end lift and easy pumping you expect from a wing this size.

We have tested it dock starting, downwind, on the parawing, winging and SUP foiling, and it is remarkably composed for its size: predictable roll, plenty of warning before a stall, and a turn that is not far off the 1150. If you have been riding a Spitfire 1180 or a big Fireball for light-wind and downwind days, this is the wing to look at. Surge 1240, shipping now.

Power Carbon FATTY Integrated E-Foil Mast 800

Our integrated Foil Drive mast range gets a FATTY. The 800 mm Power Carbon FATTY Integrated E-Foil Mast brings the stiffness and the deep fuselage connection of the FATTY system to powered foiling, with the motor sitting low for uninterrupted thrust and consistent power delivery. Whether you are taking your first flights or chasing speed with no wind or swell, it makes powered foiling smoother and more predictable. It fits FATTY fuselages only, like the rest of the FATTY masts. Available now.

Frank Mako 2 downwind boards

Everything you liked about the Mako, just easier, faster and more capable. Rather than reinvent a board that set the benchmark for stability and easy paddle-ups, Frank worked on the details: a new nose profile, revised rocker and a refined bottom shape for acceleration and forgiving touchdowns, a slightly wider outline and a reworked deck for a more direct connection to the foil. It releases earlier, which matters most with the smaller, faster high-aspect foils many of us now ride. Five sizes from 90 to 130 litres, all in AXIS carbon construction. Dock 880

A new addition to the pump board range, shaped by Adrian Roper to the demands of our pump team. Every decision went towards the most direct and efficient pump board possible: a shorter length to cut swing weight, 300 g lighter than the Dock Carbon 899, long foil tracks for plenty of adjustment, a concave deck for feel and pressure distribution, and reduced rail bevels for a flatter base. Pocket Trench 50 and 60

The Pocket Trench (patented) now comes in 50 and 60 litres, bringing it to foil-assist riders of every size and level. Instead of carving a bulky trench out of the base, the recessed pocket lets the Foil Drive slide neatly inside, for far less drag on take-off and smooth touchdowns under motor. The same thinking produced our own tracks and sliders, the fastest battery swap on any trench board. Pre-order, with purpose-made M7 and M8 bolt kits for the Fusion and the standard Foil Drive.

The Black aluminium mast system

The AXIS aluminium mast was already the stiffest on the market. For 2026 we have re-engineered the parts around it. The base plate is CNC machined from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminium, with a tapered mast pocket and a split, cross-stabilising bolt faired into the bevel, for a stiffer and stronger mast-to-base connection at less weight. The Doodad gains additional support legs that increase lateral stiffness and cut torsional loads on the mast sidewalls, and for the first time there is a FATTY Doodad, which puts a 19 mm aluminium mast on a FATTY fuselage. Masts, base plate and both Doodads come in a black anodised finish built for salt and fresh water. All seven mast lengths, from 45 to 105 cm, later this fall; pre-order now.

Ultrashort aluminium rear adapter for the Ti Link

The Ti Link titanium fuselage takes Skinny Link rears directly; the aluminium adapter opens the whole AXIS rear wing range to it. The new Ultrashort version takes the Ti Link to its shortest setting: quicker in pitch, tighter through a turn, more playful in the pocket, the natural choice for small steep waves and tight pumping. Light, compact and quick to swap, so a single fuselage covers more of your riding. Available now, alongside the Short.
