AXIS Foils Carbon Foilboards for SUP foiling, wing surfing, surf foiling, pump foiling, wake foiling, downwind foiling and kite foiling.
We’ve made this season’s Froth and Pump models even tougher, while significantly increasing the stiffness to help transfer every ounce of your pumping energy into the mast and foil. Full carbon layers top and bottom add further strength and rigidity to a tough PVC foam sandwich. A super high-density foam block encases the mast track from the bottom to the deck, further supported with additional carbon layers.
AXIS + Frank MAKO Downwind Boards
Downwind SUP foiling at its best.
Designed on Maui by Francesco Maffei (Frank Foilboards), the MAKO is the result of extensive testing on countless Maliko runs and many design reiterations and refinements.
The goal was to create the most user friendly and high performance Downwind SUP available on the market.
AXIS + Frank DART
DART, a shorter more playful SUP suited for a large variety of conditions and ability levels.
The DART is tailored to short period bumps downwind runs and wave riding but it also works great as a light wind wing or parawing board.
The compact design and wide range of use makes the DART the perfect travel board that will allow you to make the most out of a large variety of conditions.
AXIS + Frank MINI DART
The MINI DART redefines what a mid length is capable of.
This board was designed with parawinging in mind but it will bring a lot of advantages to your wing and prone game.
The fast rocker line makes take offs effortless even in marginal conditions.
Wing, parawing or prone, this board does it all and it will excel in a large variety of conditions.
AXIS Pocket Trench Foil Drive
The patent pending AXIS Pocket Trench Board pushes the boundaries for Foil Drive integration. Rather than carving out a bulky trench that disturbs water flow, AXIS has engineered a recessed pocket system that allows the Foil Drive unit to tuck neatly beneath the deck. The result is less drag, smoother hydrodynamics and a riding position that feels exactly like your regular board – without compromise.
AXIS Blast
Fast, narrow, efficient.
The new AXIS Blast winging foil boards are quick to take off with narrower outlines and longer lengths. The narrower width is great for tight turns into the face of swells. We have also changed the deck pad to have raised rails and grooves that allow the water to move off the pad quicker, resulting in better grip and no slippage. Our winging racing crew loves the smaller sizes as they are efficient through the wind. The full Carbon construction, with PVC top and bottom, has longer tracks and is Foil Drive approved. The Blast boards pair well with the newer higher aspect front wings, such as the Fireball and ART v2, as these benefit from the higher take-off speed.
AXIS Hybrid
The AXIS Hybrid is a novel new concept for us, aimed at real world riders who want to enjoy the downwind experience without having to commit to a board dedicated to that purpose.
The Hybrid can be used for light wind winging, SUP foiling, downwind and more.
Constructed with EPS cores, full carbon and a tough PVC sandwich layer on the top surface only, these boards are built to be light for optimised performance.
A super high density foam block encases the mast tracks and is sandwiched between deck and bottom.
AXIS Prone
The evolution of the prone boards has been a massive team effort. The previous boards were great, and the new range has taken a big step up with the shape getting tweaked. The biggest change has been the pinched in tail to really help with touch downs through the turns.
The 4’1 at 26L has been a really good choice for those that want a board to use for towing, or smaller rides on the prone.
The range has the same outline all the way through. The prone boards are also great for foildrive pairing if you are after a smaller volume.
We have been really loving the bigger size board in the smaller surf to float you over that shallow sand bars.
The smaller sizes have been great for those that are looking for the ultimate prone pump board for the least amount of swing weight and the best feel between your feet and mast.
The new deck pads have also been another big step up. With the new color way to really keep the clean look of the boards.
AXIS Tray V5
For the V5 we have borrowed the look from our popular Frank Downwind board range in doing so we have improved its thermal properties, when left baking in the sun for hours (not recommended). The EVA pad covers the complete length of the board, so you can place your feet anywhere your stance requires. And multiple footstrap inserts make the TRAY boards very versatile for strapless or strapped riding.
To sweeten the total package of the V5 Tray boards, we've designed glove-fitting board bags that perfectly fit each Tray size and to protect your board from knocks and bumps in your car, boat or at the beach. The Tray board bags can also be used with the foil connected to the board.
AXIS Foil Drive
The AXIS Foil Drive boards are based on a longer and narrower shape, with a very flat section in the rocker to allow the Foil Drive Gen2 to fit nicely. They run with less drag than a shorter wider board and make it very easy to get up on foil. They have been extensively tested to have a solid signal through the board, so no cutouts between the Foil Drive remote control and controller.
We wanted the AXIS Foil Drive boards to be full carbon, similar to the rest of the AXIS Foilboards. So the construction is Carbon top and bottom with a PVC sandwich on both sides. This layup makes for a stiff board that gives a direct connection to the foil, while it’s still lightweight and strong. To maximize compatibility with all foil models and riding styles, we built with long (32cm / 12.6") mast tracks.
