Parawing is the fastest-growing corner of foiling, and it rewards glide above all: the less the foil drags, the lighter the wind you can ride. Intermediate and advanced parawingers ride the SURGE 830, 890 and 950, choosing by body weight and wind. The bigger SURGE 1010, 1080, 1150 and the new 1240 get you going in light wind and while you learn, with the Fireball 1070 for more speed and the PNG V2 1300 for the lightest days. Pair a SURGE with a SURF SKINNY rear: they are made for each other.
Take a longer, lighter board: the Frank Mini Dart was built for it, and Foiling Magazine tested it this summer. Dmitry Evseev won the Masters and took second overall at the 2026 SFT Parawing World Championship on AXIS.
