Frank Foilboards’ Francesco Maffei was given the remit to design a downwing SUP board that was both user-friendly and high performance. And in the uniquely named Frank MAKO, he’s done just that. Tested on multiple Maliko runs, this board utilizes a rocker line that’s purposely designed to increase speed and release from the water with ease. It’s also built to ensure that all the energy you put in is transferred right to the foil, making it a truly efficient downwind option.
