Fireball 1500 and 1750: aspect ratio 17 and 20

downwind fatty fireball pump

The Fireball range has already reshaped what riders thought possible, and now we are taking it further. Introducing the Fireball 1500 and Fireball 1750: two wings that expand the limits of span, stiffness and efficiency, built from Ultra High Modulus carbon and made possible by the breakthroughs of our FATTY mast and FATTY fuselages. These are not incremental steps; they are leaps into new territory.

AXIS Fireball 1500 and 1750

Fireball 1500

The 1500 pushes the aspect ratio out to 17, a figure once unimaginable in a production foil. That is not just a number on a chart: it translates into endless glide with little input and a responsiveness that heavy riders and flat-water fanatics feel instantly. For downwind days that barely seem possible, or sessions where pumping is the only option, the 1500 is the go-to.

Fireball 1750

And then there is the 1750. With an aspect ratio of 20, this wing moves from rumour into reality. For years novelty versions circled, but none met the AXIS standard for release, until now. The 1750 is purpose-built for record-breaking flat-water feats and for extending glides with excellent responsiveness. Just ask the riders clocking over 20 km/h for an hour, pumping flat water with speed and absolute control.

Do not be fooled into thinking these are slow foils; they are anything but. Both are engineered in line with AXIS's commitment to strength, speed and connection. These wings are not about categories or limitations; they are about expanding what is possible for whoever dares to ride them.

They run on the FATTY system, the mast and fuselage built for exactly these spans. The FATTY system explained.
