ART v2 grows: the 1099 and the 819

Say hello to two new ART v2 sizes: the ART v2 1099 and the ART v2 819.

ART v2 1099

1099 mm span, 1220 cm², aspect ratio 10.08. The 1099 immediately catches the eye as a great balance between the ART Pro and the Spitfire, blending the speed and glide of the ART Pro with the manoeuvrability and responsiveness of the Spitfire into a foil that is versatile straight out of the box.

Small bumps. When we first tested it in light, small bumps in the San Francisco Bay we were immediately impressed with how well it pumped. We could drive the pump with more power, without needing the same finesse, for a sense of control and efficiency exactly where pumping usually costs the most effort.

Turning. Once we found some decent small bumps the 1099 really came to life, with seamless direction changes and sharp, responsive movements. A standout was how forgiving it is when the tips come out of the water: you cannot even tell when it happens, which makes it feel incredibly stable and confidence-boosting.

The 1099 strikes a fantastic balance between performance and ease of use: pump-friendly and stable, with sharp turning and responsive handling, accessible to intermediate and advanced riders alike. It is the answer for easy light-wind winging, and for small-bump SUP, downwind, parawing, Foil Drive and prone. Wake foilers will find it gives great control roaming from the front to the back wake. As one team rider put it after a trip to Chicama: the Spitfire gave the best roll and carving, but the waves were so long that the ART v2, with a little less roll and better glide, made the ideal foil for most days.

ART v2 819

819 mm span, 674 cm², aspect ratio 9.98. Hot on the heels of the wildly popular 879, 939 and 999, our team riders demanded a smaller, more dynamic addition. Drawing on the best of the smaller Spitfires and ART Pros, the 819 strikes the ultimate balance between speed, glide, control and manoeuvrability.

With impressive low-end lift it pops up early and delivers a smooth, predictable ride, perfect for riders pushing boundaries in freestyle and wave wing foiling or progressing in prone. Built on the rock-solid foundation of the ART v2 series, it combines stability with razor-sharp responsiveness. Its elliptical mid-aspect shape and refined section give blistering top-end speed and effortless glide, making it a top choice for tow foiling and chasing rolling open-ocean swell. For lighter riders wanting to push their limits winging, prone or kite foiling, this is the go-to front wing.

Both are optimised for the Black Advance+ fuselages and pair with the Skinny or smaller Progressive rears.
