Where Surge fits

Surge slots between the freeride versatility of the ART V2 and Spitfire, the go-to wings for all-round progression, light-wind cruising and entry-level wave play, and the high-aspect downwind speed machines, Fireball and Tempo. Surge is the dedicated surf weapon, engineered for critical wave sections, back-foot drive and linking turns, while still offering crossover appeal. It does not make the ART, Spitfire, Fireball or Tempo redundant; it completes the quiver with a specialised tool for pure surf performance.

What it does

  • Pure surf feel returns. Instant response, shortboard snap, smooth rail-to-rail flow. Lay it over and breach the tips with confidence.
  • Insane range. Low-end torque turns knee-high mush into foilable fun: hit whitewater, pump and connect. Top-end speed and control built for tow foiling, foil assist and charging outer-reef freight trains.
  • Freestyle and wave crossover. Wing and kite riders get lightning-fast transitions, explosive pop and a locked-in "send it" feel, for freeride tricks, wave slashing or boosting in the flats.
  • Parawing. Early planing, low-end grunt for easy take-off, and top-end efficiency for big upwind tacks and long downwind voyages.
  • Perfect pairing. Combine with the Surf Skinny rear wings for a balanced blend of speed, glide and high-performance flow: tight turns, clean releases, effortless pumping.

The range

Six sizes at launch: 740, 780, 830, 890, 950 and 1010. The Surf Skinny rears that pair with them take the unmatched glide of the Skinny and combine it with the roll stability of the Progressive: fast, fluid and responsive, with the confidence to push harder without losing connection to the wave.
