As seen in Foiling Magazine: the Frank Mako downwind boards

The Mako is the downwind board AXIS builds with Frank Foilboards of Maui: long, narrow and light, made to paddle up onto foil on the smallest bump and then disappear under your feet for the crossing. It is the board the AXIS team raced across the Pailolo and Ka'iwi channels in the summer of 2025, and the one in the photo is in the middle of exactly that.
