The key to the Fireball's unique performance is its all-new high-lift, low-drag foil section, with outlines at aspect ratio 13 and ULTRA high modulus carbon construction, tested and refined over a multitude of iterations by the AXIS team. The Fireballs are our highest-performance foils to date. They are very easy to use, with better stability across a much broader, and higher, speed range than we have ever achieved before. And do not let the reduced surface area fool you: these foils have serious range.

What makes them unique

• ULTRA high modulus carbon. These thin, skinny, super-high-aspect foils demand the stiffest construction, so you can extract every ounce of performance from the section, tip to tip.
• Aspect ratio 13. Reduced drag lets you pump faster with more forward projection than ever before: run with swells, go up and over easily, chase down bumps in front of you.
• High lift, low drag. Incredible lift and carry, refusing to stall where other foils would have dropped out long ago. You get flying earlier with less effort, and dreaded touchdowns can be pumped out of with relative ease.
• Efficiency. Advanced riders can reduce foil area substantially, about 200 cm² less than before, or run a slightly reduced span, and conserve energy, gain speed and range, and complete longer runs.
• Pitch stability. The new section lets riders drop one or two Skinny rear sizes, for more speed and less drag again.

Meet the range

• Fireball 1070 (877 cm², AR 13.07): the foil to conserve energy and shatter your distance and time-on-foil records, for breaking in new runs or days when the wind or swell is not quite there. It refuses to stall, yet stays playful and surfy under heel-and-toe pressure.
• Fireball 1000 (773 cm², AR 12.95): capable of a sub-2:00 min/km pace and effortless ultra-long-distance runs in high seas. The channel-crossing ocean racer and the benchmark for intermediate to advanced foilers in average to nuking downwind conditions.
• Fireball 940 (689 cm², AR 12.84): the weapon of choice for advanced downwind riders in nuking conditions. Paddles up like a much larger foil, with the speed and glide to run with the fastest ocean swells. Expect new pace records.
• Fireball 880 (604 cm², AR 12.82): for advanced and lighter riders in fully nuking conditions. When you are on top of your game and ready to get from A to B in record time.

Prone foilers will love the blazing speed and efficient pump, connecting more waves and ripping high-speed carves on the smallest foils: endless waves in light conditions on the 1070, next-level carve and pump when the swell hits on the 880. Intermediate to advanced wingfoilers will love the whole range: quick, stable and easy to get going, so you can downsize in both span and area without losing low-end performance.

Setup suggestions

Fuselages: the Short Advance+ for long-distance downwind, the Ultrashort Advance+ for shorter runs and a surfier feel. Rear wings: the smaller-chord Skinnies, 359/40 and 358/35, give the minimal drag the Fireballs need; advanced riders should look at the new Skinny 358/30 and 358/25.
